Edelmiro (Eddie) Cazares

Eddie passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 70. He was born on April 4, 1953, in Weslaco, TX to Modesto and Isabel Cazares. He was a lover of music, especially Tejano music, and played in a band for many years. He enjoyed playing softball, the outdoors, bowling, traveling, and the Oakland Raiders. His good humor and gentle heart will be missed by his family.

Eddie is survived by his sons Adrian, Andy and daughter-in-law Veronica Cazares, son Eric and daughter-in-law Taylor Cazares, daughter Samantha Cazares and son-in-law Josh Mendez, daughter Michelle Hightower, grandchildren Roman Cazares, Gabriel Cazares, Lucas Cazares, Joshua Mendez, Roman Espinoza. Sister Cruz Saghdejian, brother-in-law Manas Saghdejian, nephews Haig Saghdejian, Vartan Saghdejian, nieces Lisa Bardizbanian, Susie Habib.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. at Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home on December 14, 2023. Graveside service following visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M., Selma Cemetery.
