Demetrio Hernandez

Demetrio Hernandez-Cabrera was born on March 7, 1950 in Bayview Texas to Jose and Maria Hernandez. He moved to Selma, California as a child with his family and lived there for many years. On October 22, 1970, Demetrio was drafted to serve his country for 2 years in the Vietnam War. He passed away April 6, 2016. He was a kind and loving person, who loved Elvis as much as he loved God. He would always keep the families head up, even through the darkest times. He is survived by the love of his life, Jackie, his brothers Joe, Senon, William, Joe Luis, Adam and his sisters Petra, Lupe, Irma, Dora and Herlinda Hernandez. May the Angels and God embrace him with open arms into Heaven, and let him be reunited with his mother, father, brother Manuel, and Elvis. Funeral Services will be held at Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday April 13th from 4pm-8pm, funeral Thursday April 14th from 9am-10am. Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hernandez Family.
