Cleofas “Cleo” Morales was born on April 9th 1948, in the rural community of Brownsville, TX. The family settled in California in 1960. Cleo finished his route of life at 74 years old on December 29, 2022, in Bakersfield, CA. Cleo served his country from 1969-1971 overseas prior to starting his family. Cleo retired in 2010 and continued to work as a security guard to pass his time. He was well known for his work ethic and work-related gadgets. Cleo never met a stranger he couldn't talk to. He spent most of his life driving some sort of route, hauling water jugs, fixing vending machines and increasing his knowledge of the restaurant business specializing in coffee and chemicals. He was a proud father that loved his two kids, life and music. Cleo was preceded in death by his grandparents Cleofas Rodriguez Gonzales, Eloisa Cabrera Gonzales, his parents Carlos Sanchez Morales, Manuela “Nelly” Gonzales Morales and his youngest brother Dagoberto “Robert” Morales. Cleo is survived by his son Adrian Morales and his daughter Sonia Morales. Sister Juanita Leal, Brothers Carlos Morales (Mona), Victor Morales (Lori) and his 3 nieces 2 nephews and great nieces and nephews. The Morales Family is very grateful and thankful for all that have come to Cleos memorial service. We thank you for all the kindness, love and support that we have received at this difficult time.
