Cecelia Marie “Sassy” Burrola
Cecelia Marie Burrola also known as “Sassy” age 59. On December 15,2022 she received her wings and departed earth after suffering from a lung disease. She was born in Selma California on November 27,1963. As a child she received her nickname “Sassy” for being an energetic, courageous little girl. As a teenager she was given the name “Smiley” because she would fill the room with joy just by her great white smile.
She was very much involved with her children’s sports activities during their younger days. She worked as a crossing guard for Garfield and Roosevelt Elementary School in Selma Ca. following that she worked as a manager at Taco Bell in Kingsburg California. Later she became a Cashier and or Manager at local grocery stores here in Selma. Cost Less, Town & Country and United Market. Her Last Job was Reagan Elementary in Kingsburg California working in the cafeteria serving children.
She was a great listener, full of laughter, smiles hugs and kisses. She was a great friend to numerous of people and impacted so many lives. She loved her grandbabies with all her heart. She had a heart of Gold and treated everyone equally.
She survived by her children Christopher, Amber, Heather and their sister Jessica. Grandchildren Ryan, Elias, Laila, Max, Zach and Maya. Her mother Jane 1 brother Manuel her 5 sisters Olga, Belinda, Susan, Debbie and Laura. 13 nieces, 9 nieces and their extended family. She has living Aunts and Uncles and list goes on.
She will enter the gates and reunite with her father Manuel her two nephews Kyle and Jason and many More.
